Job Description

Sepura are looking for a highly motivated Contracts Manager to join our Finance team and be a part of our successful Global company. This is a challenging and stimulating role working across key functions leading and supporting contract drafting and negotiations

Main duties include:

  • Produce, review and manage standard commercial contracts
  • Support Commerical Manager on larger and non-standard commercial contracts
  • Keeping up to date on UK and EU procurement law, competition law and IP licences
  • Liaison between Bid Team and Product Strategy Group to produce technical papers to support quotes
  • Assessing and addressing the non-standard technical and commercial risks relating to bids
  • Support the Bid Team with writing tender responses when more technical than commercial
  • Build and maintain a library of responses to be used in tenders, preparation of case studies and drafting of other reference materials to ensure continuous improvement
  • Collating materials provided by various departments and ensuring a uniform tone across the overall document
  • Ensure that all input to bids is received in a timely manner and is both accurate and complete
  • Work with the Head of Bid to define and recommend winning bid strategies ensuring that all tender requirements are properly addressed e.g. coordination of all technical, commercial and financial elements
  • Ensure bids fully comply with company procedures and corporate governance requirements
  • Advise and support on export licence applications
  • Support Finance to ensure suitability of performance bonds, bank guarantees and parent company guarantees

This role will require the candidate to already have, or be able to obtain, UK Security Clearance

Job Requirements


  • Degree qualified (law degree desirable)



  • Extensive experience working as a Contracts Manager
  • Experience working in/with a Bid/Commercial team
  • Experience of dealing with Senior stakeholders
  • Experience of facilitating interdepartmental coordination 


  • Working with both institutional and commercial customers
  • Working in a technology environment
