As the Senior Product Manager of Broadband Devices, you will be a key player within the Product Strategy group in Sepura. Collaborating with a team of other Product Manager, you will develop a roadmap of capabilities based upon market demand and product innovation that supports the needs of our customer base.
The Product Manager is responsible for owning the products from inception to end-of-life, and for the success and P&L of these products. They will work closely with the Sales, Marketing, Bid and R&D functions within the business to provide class-leading broadband solutions for Sepura customers.
This exciting role is responsible for requirements gathering and prioritisation, product concept, user experience, acceptance of the product, and will champion and own the commercial/business aspects of the products throughout the development process and product lifecycle.
This role requires the candidate to already have, or be able to obtain, UK Security Clearance
Main duties:
- Take overall responsibility for the success of your product, its fit with the market and the in-line ROI
- Own the commercial/business aspects of the product, especially around business case justification, strategic and Go to Market plans, pricing strategies and proposals
- Interact with internal and external customers to understand the market, recognise opportunities and risks, address operational needs, and drive feature design and engineering priorities
- Contribute towards overall product strategy, evolving it based on research, data and industry trends
- Develop and maintain a product roadmap and vision
- Assess new and existing features through user research and data
- Focus on key usage metrics and work with the team to continuously improve product performance
- Write clear and understandable requirements for both internal and external customers
- Inspire and inform a development team to create and enhance a fantastic product
- Work closely with Project Management to deliver products on time, in budget, with the right level of balance of features/requirements
- Produce accurate collateral and support the marketing team in creating collateral and PR
- Work with, present to, influence and support customers; evangelise your products
- Once the products are in the market you will identify new opportunities to increase user conversion, retention and monetisation
- Own the short-mid-and long-term product strategy in line with the company product roadmap
- Foster strong relationships with internal development team to ensure a collaborative approach to achieving product goals
- Contribute towards product strategy and vision, creating timelines and roadmaps for developing the product
- Interact regularly with key stakeholders, including product developers, marketing, customer service, project management, finance and SMT
- Collect analyse and responding to user feedback
